Techsparks needs no introduction if you belong to the technology industry. Techsparks, usually a two-day event, is a gathering of the head honchos, technology experts, industry leaders, marketing professionals, and individuals that has been happening for 15 years now. Techsparks is organized by YourStory Media, a digital media platform that provides deep insights into the latest happenings in the technology world, CEO interviews, stories of entrepreneurs, stories of startups, organizes conferences, meetups, and more.
Over the years, Techsparks has gained significant recognition with many big brands considering it as their starting point. Companies such as OLA and Unacademy have had YourStory Media somewhere in their journey to success today. Nimblechapps was fortunate to attend a two-day event, Techsparks24, which took place at The Grand Hyatt Hotel, Mumbai. The event took place on 29th Feb - 1st Mar 2024.
It was an event filled with product launches, fireside chat with industry leaders, presentations, panel discussions, startup pitches who were seeking investments, and many more. Not to forget an excellent opportunity of connecting with like-minded individuals and widening the network.
It was quite an exhilarating experience for Nimblechapps as we wanted to share the same experience with our readers. We have shared our experience of Techsparks24 and have selected a few moments from the event as they happened day wise.

He shared his views on the introduction of AI in EdTech space. He spilled the beans on business management as well and also explained how too much investment leads to less innovation, as with too much investment comes the burden of providing ROIs.

We were also fortunate to connect with Ms. Shraddha Sharma,** Founder, YourStory Media and engage is a brief chat about the event and the recent happenings in the industry. She is truly an inspiration to not only women but men alike. She has successfully led YourStory to what it is today.
Curtains on Day 1 came with an unapologetic and myth-buster session with Mr. Gaurav Munjal, Founder, Unacademy. Unapologetic because he busted the myth that Mumbai has the best startup culture in India. He was born in Mumbai and lives in Bengaluru. He mentioned that if you are a startup and looking for the right opportunities and the best culture, Bengaluru is your place. He also discussed the need to be responsible in the EdTech space and how it’s the responsibility of the platforms to make sure that users get substantial ROI and expectations. He stressed the responsibility of companies to ensure how the platforms are built and sold specifically in the EdTech space.
Day 2 @ Techsparks24
Day 2 at Techsparks24 was all about networking and connecting with like-minded professionals. We met multiple service providers and found it astonishing how you can leverage such events to build a strong network and possible business opportunities.
As a top custom app development agency, we were fortunate to connect with customers of some good agencies and spark a conversation with them about the tech industry and how it has changed over the years. It was a day filled with booth visits, product launches, and pitchfests. We witnessed some of the awesome products, ideas, and services getting launched. We also saw a book launch by Mr. Ankur Warikoo. His book Make Epic Money’s introduction was read by Ankur himself, and it was a good experience which changed the view of how we look to make money in business.
We met him for a brief discussion about business management, time management, and eventually got some tips on how to work our way through this tough competition.
On the fun side, before the completion of the event, we met the social media influencers and youtubers, Abhi and Niyu, with whom we had a brief chat on how to manage the online presence, how to succeed in influencer marketing, how to create the content, and being a content creator, what are the responsibilities towards the society.
Conclusion
