Nine North Creations Pvt Ltd, a renowned and leading event management company, sought to develop an advanced online ticket booking system for their customers, event organizers, and staff. With a strong reputation for organizing major concerts and sports events at both domestic and international levels, they needed a robust solution to streamline their operations.

The primary objective was to consolidate various stakeholders, each using different systems, onto a single, cohesive platform. This would ensure seamless collaboration through a central system with a unified data source, enhancing communication, efficiency, and data integrity. The secondary goal was to develop a versatile system that caters to diverse industries and event domains. While the public might view events like comedy shows, music concerts, cricket matches, dramas, and marathons similarly, each event type has unique requirements, so the challenge was to create a platform that felt custom-designed for each type of event organizer. An equally important challenge was ensuring compliance with the diverse regulatory requirements of the Government of India, where each event type falls under a different industry category with its own tax brackets and regulatory compliances, all of which had to be integrated seamlessly into the platform.

• Divided the extensive project into smaller, manageable sub-projects, each focused on a specific set of functionalities, launching every new feature as an incremental addition to the initially released system.
• Began research from the bottom of the pyramid - ground staff and catering staff who would use the system continuously - then progressively moved up to organizers, managers, CEOs, and investors.
• Adopted a dual approach: detailed wireframes to demonstrate the system's workflow for operational users, and meticulous feature documentation for review by senior management.
• Applied the MoSCoW method with the client to categorize the Work Breakdown Structure into Must, Should, Could, and Would across each project phase, then broke each phase into 2-3 smaller sprints.
• Ran a beta launch at the end of each phase with long-standing users to identify bugs and missing features, rectifying and retesting before final delivery to stores and servers.
