But Vue Smart Glasses are here to appeal to the masses. These glasses are not just meant for those who are too young, or too much into social media. The Vue Smart Glasses has a wider audience. They are making the everyday, normal spectacles smart, rather than getting too cute or too futuristic.
Regular Glasses With Integrated Technology.
At a basic level, It functions as glasses. This means you will be able to order the lenses you depend on. Whether they are prescription, non-corrective, or sunglasses, it doesn’t matter. Vue frames come with integrated technology. So your glasses will be able to do more than meets the eye.
There is a convenient touch interface in the arm of the frames. Vue using that interface. It has no ports or buttons. This ensures that the experience is as least intrusive as possible.

Bone Conduction Audio Technology.
It uses bone conduction audio technology. It is used to transfer stereo sound to your inner ear without the use of earbuds. Your ears remain unplugged. So you can listen to music, answer calls, and hear notifications all from your glasses while still being able to hear the world around you.
Charging The Vue.
The Vue is to be charged putting it into the portable charging case overnight. It will get charged automatically. With the charging case, Vue’s battery lasts up to one week.
Keeps You Safe.
Vue keeps you safe. Whether you’re a pedestrian, cyclist or driver. Vue has an open ear design. It allows you to listen to directions, music, or calls without blocking your ears. So you can still hear traffic and the world around you. If you are distracted for too long while driving, Vue alerts you. Audio and LED notifications can help to nudge you back into focus. This helps you to avoid accidents and get home safe.
Your frames function the way you want them to. You can make use of the companion app to pair gestures with custom actions. For example, hearing the current time, weather, activity summary, and more.

- Audio: Vue is stereo bone conduction speakers. It has got a patent-pending sound leakage prevention design.
- Bluetooth: Vue comes with Bluetooth 4.2. It is compatible with all devices.
- Charging: It is to be charged using a wireless charging case. The minimum charging time is 2 hours. The case is charged via USB.

Coming In July.
The Vue frames will be manufactured in China. While the lenses will come from the U.S. It is looking to bring its smart but practical glasses to the market in July 2017. You can pledge $179 to get your hands on a pair. The expected retail price is $269.
