Tab Umbrella ("the extension") is a browser tool that copies the URLs of your open tabs to your clipboard and opens lists of URLs from your clipboard as new tabs. This policy explains what the extension does and does not do with your data.

What we collect

Nothing is sent to us or to any third party. Tab Umbrella does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information, browsing history, or clipboard contents. We operate no servers that receive your data.

How your data is used

All processing happens locally inside your browser:

• Tab URLs are read only when you click a Copy button, and are placed on your system clipboard so you can paste them where you choose.
• Clipboard text is read only when you click a Paste button, and is used solely to open those URLs as new tabs.
• A copy of your most recent copied list may be kept in the browser's local storage on your own device as a convenience. It never leaves your device and can be cleared by removing the extension.

Permissions

The extension requests the tabs, storage, clipboardRead, clipboardWrite, and contextMenus permissions only to provide the copy and paste features described above.

Children's privacy

The extension is a general-purpose productivity tool and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated date.
