StringPad based in Belgium has created a new pair of headphones. The headphones are being marketed as the world’s first motion simulator headphones that can provide 4D audio for a more immersive experience. Immersive technology has become a major focus for game developers, especially with all the VR solutions coming to market recently. This evolution is only just in his infancy and will take the lead in the gaming market in no-time.
StringPad has developed and built headset that makes it possible for users to feel the digital world. You can hear ànd feel every sound and movement around you in the movie or game. It is a haptic-tactile* dynamic motion simulation headset.
StringPad technology combines dynamic speaker drivers and built-in bone conductors. Bone conduction is the conduction of sound to the inner ear through the bones of the skull. Bone conduction transmission is used with people who have normal or impaired hearing. A specially designed two-way amplifier emits two different signals: one for the sound and one for the vibes, making it possible to adjust both separately. Gunning your way through your favorite game is much more satisfying when you feel every shot fired from your rifle like a jarring vibration to the back of your head.
Compatible With All Devices.
StringPad only needs a standard 3.5 mm audio jack to work and thus, it’s compatible with almost all devices, such as TV’s, tablets, smartphones, VR devices and gaming platforms.

The recommended retail price after Kickstarter will be €275,-/$295,- for the StringPad Classic set (headphones, TDM 2.0 amplifier, external microphone, cables etc). Early bird prices on Kickstarter offer up between 35 and 50% discount.
* The use of advanced vibration patterns and waveforms are used to convey information to a user or operator, that is known as Haptic /Tactile feedback. The word ‘haptics’ is derived from the Greek phrase haptikos ‘to touch’.
According to the creator, Patrick Villas, “StringPad motion simulation headphones have a comfortable design. They are easy to wear. They are well-padded and do not apply tension to the sensitive parts of your head or ears. The speaker drivers in the front are supra-aural (on-ear). They give you that more natural “open” sound. The bone conduction driver coils behind the ear give no pressure on the ear canal. They simulate an enhanced subwoofer bass feel.”

They have not only created full-range frequency response and hi-fidelity sound, but also created a portable motion simulator. StringPad was created by a Belgian start-up company. The creators, Patrick Villas and Jean-Pierre Geelen, have created multiple designs in the past. StringPad was launched through a Kickstarter campaign running until May 19th 2017.

Being a person from the Technical Background and a Master in Computer Applications, he acts as a bridge between the layman requirements of the client and technical aspects of the developers.
