1. On what platform should we build our mobile app ?
The decision to choose native, hybrid or web app is based on priorities and goals of the client. Fast pace of development, cross-compatible web technologies, open source code, availability of resources, easy updates and low budget might make hybrid applications appealing. Same goes for web apps which are relatively easier to roll out than Native. Native apps are designed specifically for an OS.It offers best in class security and performance with a highly responsive user interface.Building on any platforms has its pro’s and con’s.We recommend our clients to go hybrid and native depending on the scale of the project and expectations.
3. How much does it cost to develop an app?
The overall time to build a product depends on several factors. Timeline is agreed upon the complexity of the project coupled with the level of expertise required to pull off features and design aspects. Exact duration and the development cost is always relative to the project. For e.g. a Native app would take more development time with tools and resources than a hybrid one.
5. How do I communicate with my developer?
You can communicate with the developers via Skype or any other instant message. You can share the task or instructions by using Instant Messenger, Email, phone etc. whichever is suitable for you.
7. I am not well versed with the frameworks. Would that affect my product in the making?

4. Can we hire a developer on a project to project basis?
Of course, you can. The developer would commence working for you as a remote employee of your company.
6. How do you ensure the security of the project?
All of our servers have a secure firewall that prevents obtrusion. So your data and code are 100% secure when they reside on our servers.
8. Can I terminate the service immediately?
You’ll be required to notify us as per the contractual agreement before the highlighted period as mentioned in the contract.
10. How soon can Nimblechapps developers join my team?
Depending on the needs, situation and what we see as the best solution, it can vary. Normally, they can join within 1-3 weeks.

We have an extremely talented team who can build great Mobile Apps, Websites and Games. We’ve developed over 150 projects for web, mobile apps, and games since our inception in 2015.
3. Do you work according to the client’s time zone?
All of our development team works from Ahmedabad, India. However, depending on the nature of the work, specific situation and in case of special meetings, we can certainly stay awake to ensure we connect during your working hours. However, we’d prefer having this be scheduled prior to the event so that we can plan the rest of the schedules accordingly.
5. Do you develop a mobile app for all platforms?
Yes, we build mobile applications for all major mobile development platforms.
7. Do you have any hidden fees?
Everything from a cost perspective will be kept 100% transparent to you and we don’t have any hidden fees.
9. Do all of your developers speak English?
Yes. However, we certainly do not consider the ability to speak English as the only benchmark of development skill and intelligence. However, all of our developers are good at either writing or speaking english and can efficiently communicate. In case we have a very good developer who just cannot communicate to the extent you’d like – we will position a Project Manager level person to facilitate communication and ensure there’s no communication loss in the process.
11. When can I put a refund request?
Before we can process any request for a refund – it is fair on our part to correct the situation and be given a chance. In case of any dissatisfaction from the developer, we will require prior notifications for allowing us to look into the matter immediately and take necessary countermeasures to improve quality and lead the project in the right direction. If we are not able to resolve the case after 3 such iterations in a billing cycle, you’ve got a case for the refund.

4. What's your timezone and working hours?
It's GMT + 5: 30. Our inhouse team works 8 hours on working days i.e. 5 days a week.
6. Do you have a public holiday calendar for days you’ll not be working?
Certainly. We will share our holiday calendar upon initiation process – and will also keep you informed a week in advance for any public holiday.
8. How much experience do your developers carry?
We have developers from 1 year to 8 years of core programming, project management, and QA experience. Many of them also have industry-specific experience in terms of driving solutions catering to a domain. Having said that, our core expertise is programming. The more domain knowledge and expectations in terms of technical requirement and solution brief you provide, the better the development quality our inhouse team exhibits.
10. Do you offer a Refund?
For the refund to be processed, we will insist you to try an alternative developer with a proper replacement if you wish. The replacement doesn’t cost anything. We have seen a replacement working out very well almost all the time. We will offer you a refund if the developer is completely unable to provide you the work needed.

2. Do you work on Saturdays?
Every saturday and sunday are holidays, only 4th saturday will be a full working day.
Joining and Exit Process
1. Do I have to sign a bond while joining Nimblechapps?
At Nimblechapps, we do not believe in bond services.
3. What documents do I need to submit?
When you join Nimblechapps, you need to submit your marksheets, identity proof, proof of address.
5. What is the process to exit Nimblechapps?
You need to inform us regarding your decision in writing through a resignation email and are bound to serve two months notice period from the date of resignation.
2. Do you have any procedures to follow?
We have an employee agreement process where the employee has to sign an undertaking that the information provided by them is true to the best of their knowledge.
4. What is an Exit interview?
We provide a smooth exit process and formalities to provide company feedback and handover the projects to team mates.
1. How many paid leaves am I entitled to?
You are entitled to 1 paid leave every month. That makes 12 paid leaves per year.
3. Is it alright to sandwich leave?
It is not ok to sandwich leaves with other holidays like festivals. Do not request to change holiday ofs with other holidays. The holiday list is final and will be provided at the beginning of the year or when you join the company.
2. How many sick leaves am I entitled to?
You are entitled to 1 sick leave per quarter. There are 4 sick leaves per year.
4. Can I take a leave on my birthday?
Nimblechapps provides additional holidays for your birthday, your spouse and your children’s birthday.

9. When do I get my salary?
At Nimblechapps, your salary will be credited on the last day of the month.
11. Do I fall under PF and ESIC?
If your salary is under INR 15,000 you fall under this category. Rest assured, we have handsome salary packages and you needn’t worry about this category.
13. Do I get any incentives apart from my salary?
You are entitled to incentive in case of the project appraisals for the team based on your performance and behaviour with the team.
15. Are there any rewards or incentives?
Not taking any unplanned leaves in any given quarter makes you eligible for 1.5 days of extra pay at the end of the quarter calculated on the basis of the salary on the 1st day of the quarter.You get a reward of INR 5k for referring an employee. To be eligible for that sum, both referring and the referred party should be employed with the company without being in a notice period till 3 months of the joining of the referred party.

12. How is the increment policy at Nimblechapps?
Appraisals are yearly only. Appraisals are mostly dependent on how you are performing and what you have achieved for the company in that particular year. Apart from that, your behaviour, your punctuality, your team work, your leadership, your language, your nature all of these gets taken into consideration while we give you appraisal.
14. What is the overtime OT policy?
You may be requested to do overtime work in case of emergency or according to project requirements. In that case, you need to get approval from your manager and you will be provided OT pay along with your salary depending on the number of extra hours worked.
